Our Ottawa organization is one of many groups around the world dedicated to promoting the basic concepts of self-esteem and congruent communications suggested by Virginia Satir and others. We are an affiliate of the Virginia Satir Global Network (originally known as Avanta®), the organization founded by Virginia in 1977 as the forum for the continuing evolution of her theory and practice. This section contains links to Avanta and other organizations like ours that are dedicated to carrying on the work of Virginia and others.
